Oki Dokimos

I'm a fairly average guy. (My wife, however, is way, way above average ;-)) I develop software for data analytics and profitability for my day job. I really do love spending time studying scripture. I'm in the process of molding my life into the image of Messiah. I live in a rural area, so most time away from the job is spent doing work around our property or just hanging with my wife. I want very badly for "the church" to better understand their bibles and to change their lives accordingly.

For any of you Enneagram lovers out there, I am a Type 4 with a wing 5, and feel pretty confident of that description for my personality and social dynamics. I have been married for a little over 2 years to my lovely wife, Hannah, who is a nurse. I have had a "jack-of-all-trades" career since graduating college, having stints in everything from environmental science, bookselling, and chemistry education. One of my biggest passions is backpacking. I recently just completed a 350mile thru-hike of the Sheltowee Trace NRT this summer. My spiritual motivations are to help others in their "deconstruction & reconstruction" of their faith journeys, which includes things such as becoming more comfortable with "problems" in the Text, and wrestling with the tensions of the Judeo-Christian faith.
